This global Tier 1 organisation is looking for someone with experience in mechanical and/or electrical building works. They will provide full managerial support for someone stepping up in their career into this leadership role.

The Head of Projects Role:
- Leadership role
- Grow the Project Management team
- Build relationships with Clients (local and international companies)
- Financial P+L Management and Reporting
- Proactive approach and growth mindset
- Role is based in the Japan Head Office in central Tokyo
- Occasional travel to client locations - self directed planning
- Manage division planning and performance
- Manage a team of Project Managers
- Ensure teams deliver high standards for Design-Build, building services, fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations, MAC, A&A etc.
- Motivate, train and develop the team
- Grow the division with existing clients
- Review risk registers and offer value add projects to existing clients
- Qualification in Construction, M&E, Engineering, Project Management, or similar
- Experience in technical environments e.g. large scale facilities, industrial, factory / manufacturing, critical environment, health or similar
- Strategic and proactive mindset
- People leadership
- Some experience in P+L preferred but not essential
- Essential - Native Japanese language skills & business English
- Negotiable salary + Bonus + Allowances (eg ¥16-25M / Open)
