Mechanical Fitter – PM Shift | $50/hr + 15% Loading | Beenleigh Permanent Role | Progression to 2IC | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established steel manufacturing site in Beenleigh. This is a permanent afternoon shift role offering strong rates, a supportive team, and clear progression
opportunities.

You will report directly to a hands-on and supportive leader who values safety, team culture, and work-life balance.

Shift Times
  • Monday – Thursday: 1:00pm – 9:35pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 6:30pm
The Role
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Working across steel manufacturing, fabrication and machining environments
  • Fault finding on plant equipment including conveyors, gearboxes and motors
  • Basic machining and fabrication work as required
  • Supporting production to minimise downtime
About You
  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
  • Strong background in manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Experience in steel manufacturing, fabrication or machining environments
  • Solid fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
  • Able to work independently on afternoon shift
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
  • Own transport preferred
