Job description

Speech Pathologist | New Grad and Experienced Positions
Perth WA (Hybrid – Clinic, Community & Telehealth) | Speech Pathology (Healthcare & Medical) | Full-time or Part-time

$85,000–$130,000 base + super + bonuses
Full-time or part-time from three days per week | Bibra Lake base + metro Perth outreach | WFH time for reports

New grads and experienced SLPs both welcome to apply

Join a clinician-led, multidisciplinary allied health practice delivering Speech Pathology support to children and adults across Perth. You'll work alongside a wider team of around 20 clinicians spanning psychology, OT, PBS and speech pathology.

New office opening North of the River in 2026
We're expanding — with a new site opening north of the river later this year, we're actively encouraging applications from SLPs based in North Perth. If that's you, get in touch about how this could work for your location.

The clinical work
Support speech sounds, understanding and using language, fluency, social communication, and language foundations relevant to reading and spelling. The role also covers augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) — from signing and communication boards through to speech-generating devices.
Your caseload spans:

  • Paediatric Speech Pathology — play-based communication support for children, with families involved in goals and everyday practice
  • Speech Pathology for Adults — including communication support after stroke or brain injury
  • NDIS Speech Pathology — communication support built around daily life, choice and participation
  • Speech and Language Assessments — clear, purpose-built assessment and recommendations
  • AAC Support — assessment, trials and training for communication tools
  • Stuttering and Fluency Support — individual support for children and adults, with communication confidence and participation in mind
There's also scope to get involved in children's feeding and mealtime support, coordinating with OT where relevant.

Your caseload builds gradually over your first few weeks, with extra support where needed — you won't be handed a full caseload on day one.

New grad program and support
We understand everyone learns differently, so support is matched to you. Supervision is provided by a senior SLP and our Practice Manager, tailored to your needs — weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Supervision is in person, across clinic and community settings, with regular debrief sessions built in so you're never navigating your first year alone.

A hybrid model that works for you
Mix clinic, community and telehealth appointments to suit your clients, your caseload and your day.

More support, less admin
Our admin team handles intake, bookings, reminders, forms and diary assistance — including managing referral and enquiry turnaround within one business day — so you can focus on clients and clinical work. You'll also have real autonomy over your own calendar.

Flexibility in your working day
Full-time hours are 9:00 am–5:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break (37.5 paid hours/week), pro rata for part-time. WFH options available.

Real work-life balance
Hit your target for the month? We're the first to tell you to knock off — head home, spend time with family, or grab a cheeky dip at the beach. This isn't just a line here, it's how the team operates.

Salary and benefits
$85,000–$130,000 plus super and bonuses, depending on experience and clinical independence. Bonus structure and targets are discussed at interview.

  • $2,500 external professional-development allowance after six-month probation
  • Paid study time for suitable courses by agreement
  • Four weeks' annual leave plus two wellness days
  • $1.01 per kilometre for work-related travel
  • Laptop, phone, software, templates and assessment resources provided
About you and applying
You'll need general Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration/eligibility, a Working with Children Check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one), a driver's licence, reliable vehicle and appropriate Australian working rights.

Send your CV and a few lines about your experience or career stage, preferred days and availability. No cover letter required — we reply to suitable applicants within one working day.
