Austcorp Executive are partnering with a company that specialises in the service, repair and distribution of heavy transport equipment (trucks and trailers) for the haulage and mining industries in Western Australia to help them recruit a Workshop Supervisor for their Perth workshop. 

As the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Supervise and direct your team to efficiently deliver high quality workmanship and customer service excellence.
• Manage workflow including inspection of completed works, quality and control of repair specification, reviewing job cards, and conducting toolbox meetings.
• Lead by example in ensuring HSE, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Train and nurture apprentices to carry out tasks safely whilst achieving efficient and productive results.
• Pre-plan workflow and deploy a daily prioritised work schedule to your service team to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work collaboratively with the parts department to ensure internal processes are seamless.
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and positive word of mouth.

A little bit about you:

• Trade qualified with proven experience in Truck and Trailer Repairs
• Experience at a Supervisory / Leading Hand 
• Automotive Trade Cert (Mechanic, HD, Repairers Certificate)
• Experience with Air brake systems / EBS, Electrical and Hydraulic Diagnosis, and Chassis Alignment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisation skills, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
